Nick and I chose the topic of Domestic Violence because it would be easy to get pictures of. Also it is a big problem in the world and Domestic Violence Month was in October which just passed.

Domestic Violence can happen anywhere to anybody in the world and will affect everybody living with it even children. Every 9 seconds in the US a woman is assaulted or beaten.  Also Domestic violence is the leading cause of injury to women (more than car accidents, muggings, and rapes combined).

These magazine covers are very different especially because they were made in different time periods. The top one is a modern day one and is very abstract. the one on the bottom which us antique is more non edited and original.
