David Meanix

I like these three images because they look cool with the colors he used and they are not as creepy as the other pictures. I like the first one because it has a reflection. The second one is my favorite because it uses a lot of light and color. Lastly i like the third one because it has 4 people. also because it uses color and blank and white.

I do not like David Meanix's style of art. This is because it creeps me out. The people in most of his pictures look really scary and weird.

Top 5 fears:
1. Achluophobia – fear of darkness
2. Astraphobia – fear of thunder and lightning
3. Thanatophobia – fear of dying
4. Arachnophobia – fear of spiders
5. Ophidiophobia – fear/dislike of snakes

Unique Species

Tools used for these three pictures were the lasso tool. The creator of these took pieces of a crocodile, rhino and dog and placed them on a frog, squirrel and a monkey. They also could of used the select and free transform tools to make pieces of them bigger or smaller.
This animal is a cheedogit. It came on this earth during a bad experiment by a scientist. He was experimenting with a dog, cheetah and rabbit when the three animals suddenly transformed into a cheedogit. The scientist let it out to the wild because it terrified him. This weird species now lives in grasslands in Africa.

Frandy

I learned a lot about Frandy and Haiti today. I learned that there was an earthquake there and many things were destroyed and the people in the town helped clean up and rebuild the town. Also i learned that painting and making jewelry is Frandy's job.

Untooning Realistic Cartoons

To edit this photo i first used the magnetic lasso tool and took the face of the real photo and put it on the cartoon and used the color balance to make both of their skin match. I then used the smudge tool to make her face look smooth. Then I made it so the hair fell over on the the new face. Next I selected the eyes with the lasso tool and used free transform to make her look more like the character. Lastly i used the smudge tool to smooth everything out to make her look like the cartoon.

Photography Campaigns

Nick and I chose the topic of Domestic Violence because it would be easy to get pictures of. Also it is a big problem in the world and Domestic Violence Month was in October which just passed.
Domestic Violence can happen anywhere to anybody in the world and will affect everybody living with it even children. Every 9 seconds in the US a woman is assaulted or beaten.  Also Domestic violence is the leading cause of injury to women (more than car accidents, muggings, and rapes combined).

Magazine Covers

These magazine covers are very different especially because they were made in different time periods. The top one is a modern day one and is very abstract. the one on the bottom which us antique is more non edited and original.
